If you’re in the Tahoe area without a car, you still can get around pretty easily. The local bus services connect you to other towns, resorts and casinos cheaply and on convenient schedules. During the winter, there are also free ski shuttles. Most of these shuttles also accommodate bicycles, which also points to the bike-friendly nature of the Lake Tahoe area.
