Event Description:
Celebrate the Reno Phil’s 50th anniversary season as Maestro Laura Jackson and the orchestra perform two works from legendary American composer George Gershwin that were showcased at the Reno Phil’s first concert on August 3, 1969. Pianist Alessio Bax and the orchestra will transport you to the Roaring 20’s with the jazz- influenced Concerto in F. The Reno Phil Chorus joins the orchestra for Ravel’sDaphnis and Chloe for a sweeping conclusion to the grand celebration.
