Alzheimer's Association Northern California and Northern Nevada, Idlewild Health Walks
Event Description:

Join us for a series of guided walks at Idlewild Park! These interpretive walks are a safe and supportive environment designed to offer people in all stages of Alzheimer's and their care-partners an opportunity to get outdoors, get some exercise, and socialize with their peers!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Reno Senior Citizen Advisory Committee, these walks beginning and ending at the Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation Office, are free for participants!

Offered in partnerships with the Truckee Meadows Parks Foundations, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, and Reno Parks and Recreation Department. The Idlewild Health Walks are hosted every Tuesday, all year round, at 10am.

If you would like to become a volunteer walk co-leader, please call 775.784.1807. No previous experience necessary.
